Samsung’s various business activities account for more than 15% of Korea’s entire economy. While Samsung is known worldwide as a technology giant, it has its fingers in many pies in its home country. Being the world’s largest manufacturer of phones is not enough, as in Korea, there are hospitals, apartments, universities, and even funeral parlours owned by Samsung.
